Corporate Boardroom AV Setup Port Harcourt

E-infotech Systems and Telecommunications Limited architects and installs enterprise-grade Audio Visual (AV) communication hardware for corporate boardrooms, executive briefing centers, and remote training facilities. Commercial communication requires absolute clarity. We eliminate consumer-grade webcams and Bluetooth speakers, replacing them with centralized video matrix switchers, 4K optical tracking cameras, and heavily processed digital audio arrays tailored specifically for the acoustic realities of Port Harcourt office environments.

4K PTZ Optical Camera Systems

Visual data transmission during corporate presentations requires high resolution and mechanical tracking. E-infotech Systems installs Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) optical cameras equipped with Sony CMOS imaging sensors capable of native 4K (3840 x 2160) resolution output.

We strictly specify hardware featuring true optical zoom lenses (typically 12x to 30x magnification) rather than digital zoom. Digital zoom artificially enlarges pixels, destroying image clarity. Optical zoom physically adjusts the internal glass lens elements, allowing the camera to frame a single speaker at the far end of a 30-foot boardroom table without any loss in pixel density.

For active meeting spaces, we configure auto-framing and speaker-tracking logic. The camera utilizes integrated dual-microphone arrays to calculate the exact physical origin of a human voice within the room. Internal microprocessors drive the mechanical servo motors, automatically panning the lens and zooming in to perfectly frame the active speaker in real-time, eliminating the need for a physical remote control operator.

Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and Acoustic Echo Cancellation

Port Harcourt commercial buildings suffer from high ambient noise floors caused by heavy traffic and massive backup diesel generators operating near the exterior walls. Unprocessed audio renders corporate video calls unintelligible.

We route all boardroom audio through a centralized Digital Signal Processor (DSP) rack unit. The DSP applies aggressive Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC). When the remote participant's voice plays through the boardroom speakers, the local microphones inevitably pick up that sound and transmit it back, causing a severe echo loop. The DSP mathematical algorithms actively identify the incoming speaker audio waveform and immediately subtract it from the local microphone pickup feed, completely eliminating the echo artifact.

Furthermore, we program the DSP to apply active noise gating and specific equalization curves. The processor actively filters out low-frequency rumble (below 80Hz) generated by AC units and heavy generators, transmitting only the isolated frequencies of human speech (between 300Hz and 3400Hz) to the remote conferencing software.

Ceiling-Mounted Beamforming Microphone Arrays

Tabletop microphones clutter presentation spaces and suffer from paper-rustling interference. E-infotech Systems deploys ceiling-mounted beamforming microphone arrays. These flat-panel units flush-mount directly into standard suspended ceiling grids.

A single array contains up to 100 microscopic omnidirectional microphone capsules. The internal processor analyzes the phase timing of sound waves hitting different capsules to create precise "lobes" or beams of audio pickup. We calibrate these invisible acoustic beams using proprietary mapping software to specifically target the seating positions around the boardroom table while actively ignoring the physical space occupied by doors or noisy projector fans.

HDBaseT Video Transmission and Matrix Switching

Standard HDMI cables experience severe signal degradation when run beyond 15 meters, causing screen flickering or total signal failure. Routing video from a boardroom table to a wall-mounted display often requires cable runs exceeding 30 meters through floor cores and ceiling plenums.

To bypass HDMI distance limitations, our engineers implement HDBaseT technology. We install a video matrix switcher in the central AV rack. This hardware converts the uncompressed 4K video signal, audio, and control data into network packets. We transmit these packets over standard CAT6a shielded twisted pair ethernet cables up to 100 meters. A discrete receiver mounted behind the commercial display converts the CAT6a signal back into a localized HDMI output.

This matrix architecture allows multiple inputs to route to multiple outputs simultaneously. A presenter can plug their laptop into the table module, and the matrix will instantly route their PowerPoint presentation to the primary 85-inch wall display while routing a secondary financial spreadsheet to a separate 55-inch display at the rear of the room.

Commercial LED Displays and Projection Hardware

Consumer televisions utilize internal components designed for a few hours of evening use. Deploying them in a corporate environment results in rapid backlight burnout and screen burn-in. E-infotech Systems installs commercial-grade IPS (In-Plane Switching) display panels rated for continuous 24/7 operation.

These commercial units feature anti-glare coatings and generate over 500 nits of peak brightness, ensuring presentation visibility even in conference rooms featuring heavy natural sunlight from floor-to-ceiling windows. We mount these displays using heavy-duty, articulating steel VESA brackets secured directly to structural concrete or reinforced wall studs.

For expansive training rooms exceeding the practical limits of LCD panels, we install high-lumen laser projectors. Laser phosphor technology eliminates the need for expensive, heat-generating mercury-vapor lamp replacements, providing up to 20,000 hours of continuous, zero-maintenance projection.

Unified Communications and Touch Panel Control

We integrate the physical AV hardware directly with Unified Communications (UC) platforms like Microsoft Teams Rooms or Zoom Rooms. We install dedicated compute hardware behind the displays, removing the requirement for users to bring their own laptops to initiate a call.

To manage the complex hardware environment, we deploy 10-inch PoE (Power over Ethernet) capacitive touch panels on the boardroom table. E-infotech engineers program customized graphical user interfaces (GUI) on these panels. A single button press labeled "Start Meeting" triggers a macro sequence that lowers the motorized projector screen, powers on the laser projector, activates the beamforming microphones, and dials the scheduled Microsoft Teams bridge link simultaneously.
